The unit collects cutting waste from garment factories across Tiruppur and Coimbatore and reprocesses about forty tonnes a month into recycled yarn and industrial wiping cloth. Most of that material was previously burnt or landfilled, and the operator says the yarn now sells at a small premium to buyers who want the traceability.
